SPS Zone Meeting Activities

All of the SPS activities are available to any registrant of the APS 4-Corners meeting as well as the students that signed up strictly for the Zone 14, 15, and 16 meeting. All of the SPS events take place on Saturday, October 24th.

SPS Lecture Demonstrations Competition
8:00 AM
Meyer Hall 220
The competition is for students to show off their physics prowess without doing much research. The intent is for the students to learn how to present a physics concept in a friendly audience of their peers and guest celebrity judges that will do all they can to poke and prod at the demos presented.

This is a Q&A panel for students to ask physics professionals about their careers.

This Lunch is open to registered participants that chose to have this lunch option instead of the business lunch for APS. This event is meant as a social activity with plenty of hamburgers and hot dogs. A vegetarian option is available.
